50% Donated to Humane Farming Efforts
Fifty percent of all fees from the Thursday morning class are donated to farm animal protection organizations. The focus is on groups that work to reform the factory farming industry, from consumer education to political action. Additional direct donations are welcome at any class.
Funds Sent:
- September 2009: $185 to Farm Sanctuary (www.farmsanctuary.org),
a powerful organization working on multiple levels to improve the lives of animals in factory farms.

- November 2009: $78.75 to HFA - I've been observing the work of HSUS, Farm Sanctuary, and while they're all doing really important work I think we're really getting a lot of bang for our buck with HFA.
