Assisted Yin Yoga
Assisted Yin Yoga is a one-on-one yin practice where a recipient's body is held in gentle postures for two to five minutes at a time. This quality of support encourages a deeper fascial and energetic release and also adds the element of healing touch. Yoga teachers can use this approach to work more closely with students who may be very inflexible, recovering from injury or trauma, or otherwise desiring a gentler type of one-on-one experience.
