Private Yoga Sessions
I'm currently accepting additional students for private yoga in the area of Point Reyes Station. Special group sessions are also available for West Marin gatherings, groups, etc.
As a private instructor, I enjoy the challenge of finding the right sequence for individual intentions and needs, whether it be gentle, moderate or vigorous yoga, customized to your abilities and goals. Here's a sampling of the private yoga choices you can make:
Gentle & Relaxing
Mindful movement, comprised mostly of floor postures. Includes an extended full-body relaxation, with an overal emphasis on stress-relief.
Invigorating & Strengthening
Intended to work up a sweat, build muscle tone, shed weight, and offer a cardiovascular workout.
Therapeutic
For students with limitations, injuries, and/or special needs. Almost all students have something "going on" in their bodies, for which a portion of any session can address.
Yoga for Computer Users
Special sessions geared toward relieving computer-related tension and pain through yoga. Read more
Blend
Private sessions can be a blend the above styles, to incorporate awhole-body strengthening workout with gentle yoga and relaxation.
LOCATION
Most individual yoga sessions are held in the student's home.
Other locations include businesses, bed & breakfasts, and outdoor spaces.
Rates
- Weekly Lessons: $75/hour or $100 for 90 minutes
This rate applies to those who commit to a weekly timeslot, paid monthly at the beginning of the month. - Single Lesson: $100/hour or $125 for 90 minutes for a single sesson.
- Groups of 3 more may vary - please ask for a quote.
- Travel time outside of Point Reyes Station may incur additional cost.
